Holotype: UW 119819. Paratypes (6): UW 119817 (1), 119815 (1), 119813 (1), 119816 (1), 119818 (1); SIO 11-371 (ex UW 119814) (1).

Type locality: 56.0153°N, 168.8771°W, 1096 m depth.

Etymology: Specific name derived from the specific epithet for the tomato plant, Solanum lycopersicum, meaning "wolf peach". The specific epithet of C. lycopersicus refers to its typically bright red tomato-like coloration.
