Callionymus (Bathycallionymus) profundus Fricke & Golani, 2013

  • Holotype (unique): HUJ 16989.

Type locality: Israel, Eilat, Gulf of Aqaba (Gulf of Eilat), Red Sea, 410–480 m depth.

Etymology: The specific epithet is the Latin word profundus (= deep), because of the depth where the holotype was caught.
