Type locality: Amber mine located near Noije Bum Village, Tanai Township, Myitkyina District, Kachin State, northern Myanmar. mid-Cretaceous.
Holotype: NIGP. NIGP173208, adult male, embedded in a piece of transparent yellowish amber.
