Bryconamericus zamorensis Román-Valencia et al., 2013

  • Holotype: MEPN 11134.
  • Paratypes: IUQ 3144 (2C&S), 3199 (2); MEPN 11135 (37), 11136 (30), 7785 (3), 11136 (8), 4612, (40), 11139 (3).

Type locality: Ecuador, Zamora Chinchipe, Rio Nangaritza at confluence with Rio Numpatakaime, 78º31'20"W, 04º20'31"S [sic!][1], 950 m a.s.l.

Etymology: Bryconamericus zamorensis is named for the Zamora Chinchipe state, where the type series was collected.
