Type locality: CANADA: Saskatchewan, Bear Creek at Crane Lake, near Piapot.

Holotype: LFC, ♂, 18-VIII-2011, D. Larson.

Etymology: Derived from the name of the province of Saskatchewan, where the type series was found.
