Type locality: "Núcleo Santa Virgínia at the Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar, municipality of São Luís do Paraitinga, in an area with predominant secondary Lower Montane Rain Forest ... and an abandoned Eucalyptus plantation, about 50 m from the river Ipiranga (23°20′40″ S, 45°08′15″ W), [municipality of Ubatuba,] São Paulo state, southeastern Brazil, approximately 920 m above sea level".
Holotype: CFBH 16746.
