Brachistosternus barrigai Ojanguren-Affilastro & Pizarro-Araya, 2014: 410

Type locality: Chile, Antofagasta Region, 8.1 km NW from the village of Paposo (24°56'22 S, 70°29'34 W), 114 msl, (base of the hills of the “Cordillera de La Costa”).

Holotype: MNHN. male ♂. 22-27.X.2011. legit A.A. Ojanguren-Affilastro, J. Pizarro-Araya, D. Valdivia, F. Alfaro Kong, J.E. Barriga Tuñón, S. Rothman Toro, J. Mondaca & M. Ramírez.
