- Type locality: “Rta. Nacional 5, ca. 3 mi S (by road) of Purulhá, Municipio Purulhá, Departamento Baja Verapaz, Guatemala, 1,650–1,675 m elevation, approximately 15°12′58″ N, 90°12′49″ W, WGS84 datum”.
