- Type locality: “Finca Planada de Margot, 18.7 km (by road) from CA-9 at Aldea Las Pozas (km 143.5), Municipio Rio Hondo, Sierra de las Minas, Departamento de Zacapa, Guatemala, 1,660-m elevation, 15°10′24″ N, 89°30′26″ W (WGS84 datum)”.
