Holotype: MZFC 9580, adult ♂, collected on 21 September 1996.
Type locality: “approximately 4 km E Ocuilan (approximately 15 km W Cuernavaca City limits) on dirt road Cuernavaca-Chalma, near Ranchería Tlaltizapán, Municipality of Ocuilan, state of Mexico, Mexico; 99º23’25” N, 18º57’16” W; 2350 m elevation”.
