  • Holotype: ERS-V/F-2806.
  • Paratypes: ERS-V/F-2807 (3), 2808 (4), 2809 (4), 2810 (20).

Type locality: India, Arunachal Pradesh, Lower Subansiri district, Subansiri river below damsite, 27°32'82"N, 94°15'35"E, altitude 100 meters.

Etymology : The species is named based on the presence of 3 (Three) distinct blotches on fins.
