- Type locality: VENEZUELA: Rancho Grande Estacion, 1200 m, Edo. Aragua.
- Holotype: Temporarily in my collection, Monteforte d’Alpone, Verona, Italy, ♀, 24.IV.1999, sobre flor de Asplundia caputmedusae, leg. H. Escalona.
- Etymology: The new species takes its name from the yellow colour of the last antennomere.
