Atelopus chirripoensis Savage & Bolaños, 2009

Type locality: "from a boggy pond on the southeastern side of the Fila Norte, ca. 4 km N Cerro Chirripó Grande, Parque Nacional Chirripó, Cordillera de Talamanca, Distrito Limón, Cantón Limón, Provincia Limón (ca. 9º32′ N, 83º29′W), at ca. 3400-3500 m above sea level."
