Astyanax guaporensis Eigenmann, 1911

  • Holotype: FMNH 54709 [ex CM 3351].
  • Paratypes: CAS 68729 [ex IU 13268 and CM 3352] (1); FMNH 54710 [ex CM 3352] (1).

Type locality: Rio Guaporé at Maciel [1], Brazil

Etymology: The species is named after its type locality, the rio Guaporé.
