• Holotype: MNHNCL POR–15011 (sample number NBP1103–DH17–sponge03A), collected by RVIB “Nathaniel B. Palmer” Cruise 11–03 on 13 May 2011.
• Type locality: “Burdwood Bank, 54°50.39′S 62°05.94′W, 1810–1910 m”.
