- Holotype: AMS R9351, adult ♂, collected by C. Terence McNamara between August and September 1927.
- Type locality: “Mount Lamington district, Northern Division, Papua”.
- Paratypes: (n=2): AMS R9352 and R61072, juveniles, same data as the holotype.
