• Etymology: named after Christian Frederik Lütken

Synonymy

• Amphiura duncani Lyman, 1882

• [formely a replacement name for Amphiura luetkeni Duncan, 1879 as an homonym of Amphipholis luetkeni Ljungman, 1872, when Lyman (1882) considered Amphipholis a synonym of Amphiura, synonymy subsequently rejected]
