Holotype: UMMZ 192705 (RAN 31940), adult ♂.

Type locality: “in the southwestern corner of the Manongarivo Special Reserve, 14]04’ S, 48º18’ E, 380 m altitude, Ambanja Fivondronana, Antsiranana (Diego Suarez) Province, Madagascar”.
