Holotype: MNRJ 4698, adult ♀, collected by C.R.D. Rocha on 6 April 1995.
Type locality: “area of the Nativo do Paraju, Reserva Florestal da Companhia Vale do Rio Doce, Municipality of Linhares, Espírito Santo State, 19º18’S, 40º19’W”.
