Ameerega ignipedis Brown & Twomey, 2009

Type locality: "Departamento Loreto, Peru, 17.5 km NE Contamana at the western foot of the Serranía de Contamana, 240 m elevation, 7°11′55.46″ S, 74°57′35.28″ W. Type locality near "El Unión", a campsite located at the confluence of a hot-water and cold-water stream."

Holotype: MUSM 24948.
