Holotype: MHNC 8331, adult ♂, collected by J.C. Chaparro and Oscar Quispe on 27 October 2009.

Type locality: “Quebrada Guacamayo (12°54'24.5"S; 69°59'32.7"W, 215 m a.s.l.) km 105 of the highway Puerto Maldonado–Cusco City, District Inambari, Province Tambopata, Department Madre de Dios, Peru”.
