- Type locality: Near Bakam stream along forest trail near Ella river watershed (0°3 6.240′ S; 112° 14.506′ E) at 220 m asl., near km 37 (logging road marker), Kecamatan (=District) Menukung, Kabupaten (=Department) Melawi, Bukit Baka-Bukit Raya National Park, West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia.
- Holotype: MZB Amph. (FN RMBR 001153).
