  • Paratypes: FFR 01073 (20).

Type locality: Turkey, Mardin Province, Beyazsu Stream, Euphrates River drainage, 37°10’21"N, 41°16’13"E [1].

Etymology: In their article, the authors claim that the species is named after Emine Turan, the mother of the first author. However, in the Turkish press and social media it is widely commented that the name is given after Emine Erdoğan, the wife of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.[2]
