- Lectotype: BMNH 1882.5.22.101, adult ♀, collected by Col. H. Beddome. [designated by Das et al. (2024: 155)]
- Type locality: “Sevagherry Ghat [=Sivagiri Hills]”, in the borders of Kerala and Tamil Nadu state, India.
- Paralectotypes (n=4): ZSI 15733, adult ♀; BMNH 1882.5.22.102–104, one ♀ and two ♂ specimens, collected along with the lectotype.
