Holotype: THNHM THNHM-I03–942 (= TH03-WJT-713), worker, 8.XI.2003, W. Jaitrong.
Type locality: S. Thailand, Trang Prov., Khao Chong Botanical Garden, evergreen forest.
Etymology: The specific name refers to the long petiole.
