- Holotype: MZUSP 136712, adult ♂, collected by B.v.M. Berneck, R.S. Cordeiro and M.V. Segalla on 25 September 2006.
- Type locality: “Parque das Neblinas (23°44′47″S; 46°07′45″W), about 700 m a.s.l., Bertioga municipality, São Paulo, Brazil”.
