Acanthiops cooperi (Gillies & Wuillot, 1997)

Holotype: Nymph (on slide), Kenya, Kakamega Forest, Isinza stream, 8.i.90, S.D. Cooper. Paratypes, 2 nymphs, same provenance. Type deposited in Natural History Museum, London.

Etymology: This species is named after Scott D. Cooper, who collected the specimens and donated them for study.
