- Operator: OhanaUnitedTalk page

Discussion
edit- Right now I have to manually copy and paste each article that contains __NOTOC__ from search results to AWB before it can run and perform such task. Does anyone know how to make this automatically? OhanaUnitedTalk page 19:25, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Right now, I have this on my list of "stuff to do on Wikispecies when I'm bored". However, often these pages also have indented family et al names; could the bot also look for, and correct, this? EVula // talk // ☯ // 22:51, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Unlike Monobi, who knows how to use python, I am stuck with the capabilities offered by AWB. And a lot of functions don't work (such as Google Search) because Wikispecies generally don't appear as the first overall result when searched with Google. It is easily outstripped by Wikipedia. Monobi suggested me to do a database query (see here) but I am not familiar with the process. I think we can save this function as next task for the bot. - You can specify a site to search on Google by putting "site:URL" at the end of the query. Example. EVula // talk // ☯ // 05:37, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I tried it. It returns a lot of userpages and no article. You can try it yourself.[1] I don't know why it doesn't return articles. OhanaUnitedTalk page 05:49, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Ok, I ran the bot 50 times (contributions[2]) Please check if there's any problems. If not, please flag the bot so that it doesn't clump up recent changes list. OhanaUnitedTalk page 19:51, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
