edit- Sapindus edulis sensu Blanco (1845: 201), nom. illeg. non Aiton (1789) nec Blume (1823) (neosyntypes: Merrill Sp. (2021).
- Erioglossum cuneifolium Blume (1847: 118), nom. illeg. ≡ Sapindus saponaria sensu Blanco (1837: 288) ≡ Sapindus guisian Blanco (1845: 201) was once placed under Erioglossum rubiginosum hesitatingly by Radlkofer, Pflanzenr. (Engler) IV, 165(98c): 695 (1932), while it was formerly cited under Dittelasma rarak (DC.) Hiern [≡ Sapindus rarak DC.] by Fernández-Villar (1880: 51) and Leenhouts (1969: 88) partially agrees with Merrill's view (1918: 241) as it is a certain species of Guioa.
