Welcome to Wikispecies!

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikispecies! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

If you have named a taxon, then it is likely that there is (or will be) a Wikispecies page about you, and other pages about your published papers. Please see our advice and guidance for taxon authors.

If you have useful images to contribute to Wikispecies, please upload them at Wikimedia Commons. This is also true for video or audio files containing bird songs, whale vocalization, etc.

Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username (if you're logged in) and the date. Please also read the Wikispecies policy What Wikispecies is not. If you need help, ask me on my talk page, or in the Village Pump. Again, welcome!

Deleted pages spam

Hi @PreciousDemarest:

the recent pages you created Purchasing Wholesalers In South Africa and Fighting For Wholesalers In South Africa: The Samurai Way have been deleted as promotional spam. I would suggest you learn what this wiki is about it is not Wikipedia, notthat they would tolerate spam either. We are a very specific wiki aimed at species names not general articles. I am not blocking you at this point but consider this a warning not to produce promotional spam pages. Cheers Scott Thomson (Faendalimas) talk 03:43, 23 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Blocked. Considering the user page edit history this user page is most likely created by a spambot of some sort, since it's not probable that the user is both a 37 year-old fashion designer from Saint-Paul named Nicole, as well as a 40 year old orthopaedic surgeon from Owen Sound, a 46 year old journalist from Thorold, and a 50 year old tailor from Port Hawkesbury. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 07:51, 23 September 2019 (UTC).Reply
