Phyllophaga taxon names

Hello GabrielaMolinaHdez. According to Catalogue of Life (CoF 2018 Annual Checklist) and World Scarabaeidae Database (January 31, 2018) the correct Phyllophaga taxon names are still Phyllophaga dubitata^{(CoF List)} and Phyllophaga insulaepinora.^{(CoF List)} You have changed them to Phyllophaga dubitatus and Phyllophaga insulaepinorum in your edits here and here. Can you please also add references to valid publications or other citations in order to verify the update? The primary references for the newly created Phyllophaga barroi page would also be welcome. Hello Tommy Kronkvist, I'm a cuban entomologist and I've been working whit the cuban species of this genera for about 5 years. In the original descripcions of this two species the names are Phyllophaga insulaepinorum and Phyllophaga dubitatus, the paper is: Garcia-Vidal (1978): El genero Phyllophaga Harris, 1826 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae)en Cuba. Descripcion de cinco nuevas especies. Poeyana, (182), 1-14.

For Phyllophaga barroi the paper is : Serrano, A. & M. A., Morón. 2017. Four new species of Phyllophaga Harris (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Melolonthinae) from western Cuba. Zootaxa 4362 (4): 575–583.

Thank you for the information! I will add the data to the taxon pages in a day or two. Do you happen to also have the paper for Phyllophaga guanahacabibensis? The reason I ask is that taxon pages without any sort of references are at risk of being deleted. It's best to add at least one good reference right from start, if possible. Please note that the text formatting etc isn't as important as the actual citation: sooner or later the formatting will be fixed by someone, either you or someone else. MPF is "Museo Felipe Poey" this is a museam at the University of Havana and in the case of Phyllophaga pauli some of the paratypes are depited at IES as in "Instituto de Ecología y Sistemática" GabrielaMolinaHdez (talk) 13:35, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

1. I've corrected the IES link on the Phyllophaga pauli page.
2. Here at Wikispecies, the link "MFP" is normally automatically redirected to MNHNCU, as you can see on for example the Phyllophaga guanahacabibensis page. The reason for this is (as you can see on the MNHNCU page) that Museo de Ciencias "Felipe Poey" is listed as today being part of Museo Nacional de Historia Natural de Cuba (MNHNCU) in Havana. That information is also available on the MNHNCU page. Is this incorrect? Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 19:40, 8 February 2019 (UTC).

The MFP is not a part of th MHNCU, is part of the Havana University, the problem is that the MFP was the first Museum fo Natural History of Cuba before 1959, now they are two diferent entities. GabrielaMolinaHdez (talk) 20:21, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
