@Pigsonthewing: Good evening .. I wanted to ask how the titles of the various sections of a page translate? By selecting the various languages I see that they change the language .. thanks and I await your kind reply. Fierodelveneto (talk) 21:29, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

We use markup like =={{int:Publications}}==. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 22:46, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Pigsonthewing: Thanks .. and where can I add and translate in Venetian? --Fierodelveneto (talk) 06:43, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
As a monoglot, it's not something with which I am very familiar, but see Help:Translation and especially Wikispecies:Localization. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 11:25, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Templates edit

Why have you changed the font sizes on {{MBG}} and {{IPNI}}? Andyboorman (talk) 10:26, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Andyboorman: Hi, thanks for the question. I have translated the templates into the Venetian and Spanish languages, but usually the templates on the references have small words on the words "Access" and other words. What do you say? All with the same size, it seemed quite a confusion! What do you think about this? Again thanks for the question. ꜰɪᴇʀᴏᴅᴇʟᴠᴇɴᴇᴛᴏ (Talk) - (Contributions) 10:29, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the speedy reply. Most templates I use have the same font size across the whole template. Good work on translations by the way. Cheers. Andyboorman (talk) 10:42, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Andyboorman: If you have time, can you please help me to find all the reference templates? Thanks also to you for the quick response and thank you for the appreciation! --ꜰɪᴇʀᴏᴅᴇʟᴠᴇɴᴇᴛᴏ (Talk) - (Contributions) 10:53, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Just click on External botany link templates at the bottom of the page of one of the templates you have edited, this will get you the list. Andyboorman (talk) 13:25, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have had to revert your edits on {{MBG}}, as it was causing a strange format problem. I suggest you pause your edits and check those you have already made. Use the What links here function on the left of the screen. It seems that there is code behind the code you can see on the edit screen for the templates, but I am no expert. I assume that is also your problem with {{Catol-Crosby}}. Andyboorman (talk) 14:35, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Andyboorman: An administrator has modified the translation template .. and now the template has problems in its application! I stopped to wait for his reply! --ꜰɪᴇʀᴏᴅᴇʟᴠᴇɴᴇᴛᴏ (Talk) - (Contributions) 14:58, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
I do not know enough about "under the hood" coding to do more than tinker with linking templates. Andyboorman (talk) 16:51, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Andyboorman: If you see problems in the templates due to the two templates that I created, go to those two templates and delete everything and leave only the default writing, so that it does not create problems and you do not waste time changing / correcting / restoring everything. --ꜰɪᴇʀᴏᴅᴇʟᴠᴇɴᴇᴛᴏ (Talk) - (Contributions) 17:41, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
