This genus is sometimes treated as a synonym of Brevicolaspis in the family Chrysomelidae.

The TITAN: Cerambycidae database website classifies this genus as "nec Cerambycoidea" but doesn't say whether it is a synonym of Brevicolaspis or not. According to it, the only species included is enigmatic and is not cited by any other work of Thomson's nor in catalogs. (Does this mean Ceramycid catalogs? It's definitely listed in Chrysomelid catalogs at least as I've just listed above).

- @Monster Iestyn: I've found some pictures and assuming the identification is correct I can see where Thomson was coming from. These do have a kind of atypical body shape and very long antennae for Eumolpinae, but they don't look that much like Lamiinae (cf. pictures of Leptosylus and Brachychilus). Looks like a case of "when all you have is a hammer". Circeus (talk) 19:18, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
