  • Holotype: MNRJ 30180.
  • Paratypes: (2) MNRJ 30178, 30179.

Type locality: Bahia coast, Brazil, 1548'30S, 3835'16W, 599 m depth.

Etymology: The epithet is in reference to the state of Bahia, northeastern Brazil, from where this species is described.
