Original combination: Rebelula cornuta Wilson, 1919

Type locality: SW of Shizunai, Hokkaido, Japan. 42°11′10″N 142°12′00″E / 42.1861°N 142.2°E / 42.1861; 142.2. Depth 657 m.

Type host: Synaphobranchus affinis Günther, 1877.

Holotype: USNM 49758 [1].

Paratype: USNM 49768 [2].
