- Paratype: 1 specimen, 0.8 mm, AM P.69092, east of Flynn Reef, Queensland, Australia (16°37.82’S, 146°23.08’E), 1000 m, baited trap, 6–7 June 1993, coll. J.K. Lowry, P. Freewater & W. Vader, RV Sunbird [QLD-931/SEAS].
- Etymology: named after Bert Ziviani, skipper of the RV Sunbird.
