Panulirus japonicus (Von Siebold, 1824)

Holotype: RMNH no. 60, selected by George and Holthuis, 1965: 10, in alcohol condition excellent; [paralectotypes in BM, MP, RMNH, USNM].

Type locality: "Japonia", Japan, probably near Nagasaki.
