Name

Loxoconcha parahuahineensis Behrens, 1991

• Type locality: From dead coral fragments mainly in water depths of more than 10 metres, Station 14, on the windward side of Lizard Island (14º40'S, 145º28'E), 36 km off the coast, northern Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia.
  • Remarks: Holotypes and some paratypic material are deposited at the Australian Museum, Sydney. Paratypes are also deposited at the Zoologisches Museum Hamburg, Germany.
