Name

Limnocythere stationis Vávra, 1891

• Type locality: From mud at the bottom of the central part of Gatterschlag Pond (Kačležský rybník) near Gatterschlag (Kačlehy), district of Neuhaus (Jindřichův Hradec), southern Bohemia, contemporary Czech Republic.
• Remarks: Limnicythere is regarded as an unjustified subsequent emendation of Limnocythere.
• Distribution: Europe, Siberia, Sudan.
