Name

Lampetra auremensis Mateus, Alves, Quintella & Almeida, 2013

• Holotype: MB 05-002869.
• Paratypes: MB 05-002870 (3).

Type locality: Ribeira do Olival, Caxarias, Ourém, 39º42’15.60"N, 8º32’06.84"W [1], Tagus drainage, Portugal.

Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the area where the species occur, in the region of Ourém, inspired in the name of the region in the XII century, Aurem.
