Holotype: YPM 9551 - male
Type-locality: Atlantic Ocean, Bermuda, cove W of Devonshire Bay. Habitat: marine benthic, rocks, 0,3 m depth
Paratypes: YPM 9552 - 18 females, 37 males and 164 immature, USNM 243584 - 10 females and 10 males, BBS - 3 females, 6 males and 6 juveniles
