James de Carle Sowerby
James de Carle Sowerby (1787–1871), British mineralogist, illustrator and botanist.
- Son of James Sowerby, brother of George Brettingham Sowerby I and Charles Edward Sowerby, father of James Sowerby, great-grandfather of Arthur de Carle Sowerby, uncle of George Brettingham Sowerby II and John Edward Sowerby, greatuncle of George Brettingham Sowerby III.
