Name

Galathea tongi Macpherson & Robainas-Barcia, 2015: 310, figs. 110, 121F

Holotype: UF 10707, ♀, 13 August 2005.

Type locality: Kiribati. Line Islands. Tabuaeran Atoll, 3.8051°N, 159.3021°W, 10–23 m.

Etymology: This species is dedicated to the President Anatole Tong of Kiribati, for his global leadership in ocean conservation.
