Name

Galathea mariae Macpherson & Robainas-Barcia, 2015: 184, figs. 66, 118B

Holotype: UF 15522, ♂, 14 October 2008.

Type locality: French Polynesia. Society Islands. Moorea Island, 17.4848°S, 149.9172°W.

Etymology: Named to Maria García of the Centre d’Estudis Avançats de Blanes (CEAB-CSIC), for her support to marine research.
