Holotype: MNHN -IU-2013-13218, ♀, 4 November 2002.
Type locality: French Polynesia. Austral Islands, RAPA, Stn 5, 27°05.6'S, 144°18.5'W, 8 m.
Etymology: Atua is the family god in Polynesian mythology.
