Name

Galathea aequata Macpherson & Robainas-Barcia, 2015: 31, figs. 6, 115D

Holotype: UF 9860, ♂, 20 June 2006.

Type locality: French Polynesia. Society Islands. Moorea Island, 17.4964°S, 149.7528°W, 0–1 m.

Etymology: From the Latin aequatus, equality, in reference to the similiraty with G. mauritiana.
