Holotype: GZG.INV.78675.

Type locality: Feuguerolles, France; calcarenitic sediments infilling topography on surface of unconformity, late Pliensbachian, Early Jurassic.

Paratypes: GZG.INV.78676 and GZG.INV.78677.

Etymology: named after Christian Pott.
