Holotype: NMMNH P-26902, locality NMMNH L-3437, molting cast of a medium developmental instar with the thoracic part disarticulated and in part lost.
Type locality: Carrizo Arroyo, central New Mexico (Red Tanks Member of the Bursum Formation, near the Carboniferous/Permian boundary).
