Name

Cytherella magna Ayress, 2006

• Type locality: Otekaike Limestone escarpment, Trig Z, near Otiake, (44°48.7 S, 170°31.6 E; New Zealand Map Series NZMS 260, grid reference I40/145974), North Otago, South Island, New Zealand.
• Type horizon: Shellbed in the lower part of the Waitoura Marl Member, c. 11 m above main shellbed at base of Miller Member, Waitakian Stage, Late Oligocene, Palaeogene, Tertiary, Cenozoic.
