- Type locality: Warren, Bradley County, Arkansas (GPS coordinates N 33° 35.655 min-W 092° 06.941 min) from the rhizosphere of Paspalum sp.
- Etymology: The species epithet is derived from Warren, AR. the location where it was found in Arkansas, USA and the latin suffix ense, meaning belonging to or from.
